We are formerly known as Color Country Futbol Club. 

We have Spring and Fall recreational and competitive teams.

Our Coaches

The Coaches with Southern Utah Surf are passionate and motivating. They have an energy that is contagious. They are constantly learning the game of soccer so they can provide the best mentorship possible for the boys and girls of Southern Utah.

Online Registration Only

  • $70.00 Early-Bird online registration (Nov 15 - Dec 31)
  • $5 Sibling Discount
  • $90 Regular online registration starts Jan 1st-31st
  • After Jan 31st we will only accept paper registration. Your child will be placed on whatever team has a spot available and you get whatever uniform size is left. 

Paper Registration

  • $10 more than online regular season registration. 


Refund Policy

  • full refund through Dec 31st
  • refund of $25.00 & CCFC keeps uniform through Jan 31st
  • no refund or uniform after Jan 31st


Details

  • Surf/CCFC makes every effort to form teams by age and location (local school) in which kids live.
  • Every child plays virtually 100% of the time in practices and a minimum of 50% of the time allotted in games.  
  • Friend requests are only honored if one of the parents volunteer to coach.
  • Children are required to wear shin guards. 


Age Requirements

Ages 3 - 17!


  • Must be 3 yrs old by June 1, 2019
  • Must not be 18 yrs old before June 1, 2018
  • Age groups as follows:
    • U4 3v3              U5 3v3         U6 3v3
    • U7/U8 4v4        U10 7v7       U12 9v9
    • U14/U16 6v6 (bigger teams if we get more numbers)
  • U12 and up is co-ed

Important to Read!


In an effort to more efficiently find coaches and lessen the burden on our coach coordinator and other board members, this year we will be implementing the following procedure for teams without a coach.
 

1.  Contact parents of each player and team by phone.
2.  Notify the parents of the team in a group email stating that each parent has been called and no one has volunteered as coach. Again, we will request a volunteer.  This email will be our final request for a coach.  (We will not share your information.)
3.  If a parent contacts CCFC volunteering to be coach we will notify the team via email and your children will play as scheduled.
4.  If a parent does not contact CCFC to volunteer by February 20th your team will be removed from the schedule and your children will not be able to play.  Refunds will not be issued at this point, as jerseys will have been ordered as well as coach’s bags, field paint, water bottles, and all other equipment. (refer to refund policy above)

 
 

Our program is always only as good as our coaches and we want to help our coaches to excel in every way! We are offering a $25 discount off your child's registration the first year if you complete the Grassroots Coaching course that costs $25. It is a 2 hour course that you can do online at home. Once it's completed, please email a copy of your certificate to ccfcregistrar@gmail.com and then we can send you a refund check for the course.  Every year after that, we will give you a $10 discount as a thank you for your continued coaching.

Goalie Wars registration is open to any Surf/CCFC member, rec. or comp, who either plays goalie on their team or would like to try to play goalie!  Schedules with time slots for each age group will be posted on this page. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each division.
 

To register, you MUST fill out the form to reserve your child's spot in the tournament.  Your child must be born in 2009 or earlier to participate.  We will need 3 adult volunteers to help on each field. Please email southernutahsurf@gmail.com if you can help. 

CCFC Goalie Wars Rules 2020

The Field of Play:
A Goalie War field is 20-28 yards long by 22-30 yards wide depending on the player’s age.  The Goalie War field is divided into two halves by a halfway line. 
 

The Number of Players:
A Goalie War is played by two players.  
 

The Ball:
Four balls per field will be provided by the Tournament.  Only one ball at a time is permitted on the field of play during a Goalie Wars match.
 

Duration: 1-2 minutes depending on how many register
The keeper with the most goals wins.
 

Start of Play:
The ball will be placed on the center mark of the field.  Each Keeper must stand behind their respective goal lines. The Referee blows the whistle to start play. The player that reaches the ball first will initiate the distribution that starts the war.  A player is not allowed in the opposing player's half of the field. 
 

Method of Scoring:
Distribution is the method by which goals are scored.  A player may distribute the ball in any of the following ways:  throwing, punting, rolling, punching, kicking, drop kicking or heading.  A player may only distribute the ball once during their possession.  A player must distribute the ball within 6 seconds of taking possession.   A goalkeeper is not allowed in the opposing players half of the field.  If a successful save is made, play continues without hesitation or pause.  If a rebound occurs that crosses the midfield line, only the goalkeeper whose half of play the ball is in has rights to the ball.  A goal is awarded when the entire ball crosses the goal line, play is restarted by the scored upon goalkeeper.  In the event of a goal or out of bounds, play is resumed from the goal line or end line by the goalkeeper owning the rights to the ball. The player scoring the greater number of goals during the Goalie War is the winner.   A win is 3 points, a tie is 1 point, and a loss is 0 points.  The top 2 in points in each division will play each other in a championship match.  In the event of a tie at the end of the match it will go straight to golden goal.  The field manager will yell golden goal at the end of the initial time to let the keepers know to keep playing until a goal is scored.  The first goal wins the round.  

Futsal

Teams must check in 1 hour before their first game. Completed team waiver is required for check-in. Teams play 5v5 including keeper. Max roster of 8.  

Games are played on a basketball court so no cleats are allowed. Sneakers only.  There is not a lot of room for bystanders so when your team is finished, they will need to exit the court.

Tournament officials reserve the right to mix age brackets to help with scheduling.  All teams are guaranteed 4 games. Teams may be co-ed or not but they will all play each other according to age.

Top two teams in each age bracket will receive medals.

Cost: $185 per team until January 5th, 2020

Space is limited to 35 teams to register early to guarantee your spot!

You MUST tryout and you will be given a code to register for a Surf/CCFC team.  To complete registration, you must also email your birth certificate to the ccfcregistrar@gmail.com and upload a current picture.  

Registration fees: $160 UYSA fee, 

                            $40 Legacy Fields fee, $60 CCFC club fee 

Our $60 club fee goes towards a Director of Coaching, coach licensing and training, keeper clinics, equipment for coaches, and referee training so we can have games in Cedar City.


Tryouts


All current and future players will need to pre-register for tryouts online. There will be a $10 fee to cover the shirt.  We will be using the tryout shirts as practice shirts that they will need to wear to practice.


Club Uniforms!


Uniforms will need to be ordered by June 9th.

We will use these uniforms until 2021.  Uniform price is $115 and includes 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, and 2 socks. The link will be active June 21-27th. 


Coach Licensing


All Comp coaches must get their Grassroots License.  CCFC will reimburse you once you have completed the class and received your certificate.  Please email a copy of your receipt and certificate to ccfcregistrar@gmail.com to be reimbursed.

$125 to sponsor 1 team
$200 to sponsor a team and have your logo on the uniform instead of just the words plus links to your business on our facebook page and website
$250 to sponsor 2 teams includes logo and business links.

Sponsoring a team is a great way to show your support for our community and more importantly the children in our community; it is also a great way to advertise your business.  Through your sponsorship we are able to keep our prices low for the kids playing.  We encourage our sponsors to sponsor players they know personally.  If you are interested in sponsoring please call 435-590-1157.  You can also download the form to fill out and mail it off with your payment at PO Box 3004.  Please be sure to print clearly the name of the child you're sponsoring.  This ensures that your child will wearing your jersey during the season. There are no guarantees if this field is not filled out.
